Death of Chris Mueller's Brother

Death claimed Henry E. Mueller of LeMars at his home Sunday morning. Death was due to hardening of the arteries and he had been in failing health for some time. Funeral services were held at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon at St. John's Evangelical church in LeMars, Rev. J. Perl officiating. Interment was made in Reading township cemetery near Ireton.

Henry E. Mueller was born in Hanover, Germany, Sept. 12, 1862, so was 74 years old at the time of his death. When a youth he came to America and shortly after located at LeMars. For years he farmed near Struble and was a well known farmer and stock breeder in Sioux county. He was united in marriage with Catherine Osterman in 1888. Some over four years ago he retired and moved to LeMars where he purchased a fine home. He is survived by his wife and one son and five daughters. The children are Emil Mueller, Mrs. Henry Prust and Emma and Esther Mueller of LeMars; Mrs. Fred Siege, Maurice, and Mrs. John Watson, Sioux City. He also leaves three sisters and two brothers, one being Chris Mueller of Ireton.
