Donald and Lois Van Egdom, Hawarden, Iowa, observed their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 12. The couple celebrated their anniversary Jan. 15 and 16 with family at the Radisson Encore Hotel in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The couple are the parents of six children, Donine Ruhland, LeMars, Iowa, Lori and Jeff Thomas, Hawarden, Iowa, Rachelle and Darrell Warner, Sioux Center, Iowa, Stacey Sneller, Flandreau, S.D., Robert and Michelle Van Egdom, Brandon, S.D., and Jamie and Bruce Bultman of Hawarden. The couple have 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Van Egdom and the former Lois Schneider were married Feb. 12, 1955, in Luverne, Minn.
Their family is also honoring the couple with a card shower. Cards may be sent to them at 4061 Cherry Ave., Hawarden, Iowa 51023.
