Faber-Van Hofwegen Wedding This Week

Miss Cora Faber and Mr. Dick Van Hofwegan were married this afternoon at 2
o'clock at the home of the bride's parents, seven miles northeast of
Hawarden, Rev. J.J. Stegenaga, pastor of the Christian Reformed Church at
Lebanon, performing the ceremony. Only immediate relatives and close friends
were present at the wedding. This evening a wedding supper will be served
the guests, following which the happy young couple will leave on a wedding
journey. Upon their return they will start housekeeping on a farm northeast
of Ireton.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.J. Faber, well known residents of
this vicinity. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Van Hofwegen,
residing near Ireton, and is a promising young farmer. These young people
have a host of friends who congratulate them and wish them well as they are
about to start life together.
