Employment: After his military service, Mark went into the auto mechanic industry and worked in various auto fields. In 1996, he began working for Variety Distributors in Harlan, IA and held several positions within the company. Due to Mark's health issues, he had to resign after 27 years.
Hobbies/Interests: Enjoyed golfing (often with his brothers or grandkids), fishing, bowling leagues, garage sales and thrifting; liked playing various card games from poker to cribbage and canasta; like spending time watching the NASCAR races with Traci on Sundays. Had a talent for fixing or diagnosing issues with small engines and vehicles. Liked to try his luck on slot machine at the casino. He liked being around his kids and grandkids, and you could find them playing golf, baseball or bowling on the Wii, assembling puzzles, or taking everyone’s quarters during card game; had a great ear for good music, especially if it was country or classic rock and roll. Was a jack of all trades.
