Survived by: Son, Devin (spouse, Stacey Andersen) Moeller of Marne, IA; daughter, Darcey Hart of Calvin, OK; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; other family members and friends

Employment: After his high school graduation, Daryle joined the Highway Commission; after his marriage, he carried on the family farming business, including the century farms near Marne, IA; he also served on the Marne Elk Horn Telephone Company board for 19 years.

Hobbies/Interests: As a young adult, Daryle enjoyed spending time cruising in Atlantic, IA and “Superville Cruising” between Kimballton and Elk Horn in his ’64 Ford. Was well known for his contributions to the Marne Slow Pitch Softball league which dominated the area for many years. In winter, Daryle and Connie would travel around the U.S., but particularly enjoyed their annual trips to Florida to watch the Daytona 500, which they did for several decades. He attended countless dirt races throughout the U.S. to watch his favorite drivers compete; also known to attend many local dances; was a member of the Elk Horn American Legion Post 322.
