After losing her husband in 1983, Kay worked in banking and other industries while raising her children. After moving to Wichita Falls, TX, they retired in 2011 and became snowbirds, traveling in their 5th wheel. While doing so, they worked several years at Beacon Shores Resort in Crosslake, MN and wintered in Donna, TX with friends.

Hobbies/Interests: Enjoyed fishing, baking and cooking, dancing, gardening, and quilting, having made quilts for all of her grandchildren after she retired. With the isolation brought on by COVID, she enjoyed the regular Sunday family Zoom calls with loved ones from all over the country.
