Employment: stay-at-home mother and farmer’s wife; later, she worked for the St. Mary’s School lunch program in Panama, IA for many years and later worked at a daycare center in Harlan.

Hobbies/Interests: Enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, gardening, dancing, playing cards, and mostly, spending time with her family. Early in 2023, Grace moved to Elm Crest Assisted Living in Harlan where she enjoyed socializing with the residents and workers, playing cards with family and other residents, playing bingo, seeing regular visitors and proudly introducing her family to all, and eating ice cream on a regular basis.
