Employment: Helped his father farm and also helped his father and uncle on fencing jobs. In 1963, Neil joined his oldest brother, Gerald, in the roofing business, known as Huebert Brothers. He also did truck driving for several truckers in the area and worked for the railroad. In the 1970’s, Neil and his brother began cutting down and removing trees. He also took the job of opening graves for St. Mary’s Parish. Neil loved farming more than any other job he ever did which is why he did it for 57 years. It brought him so much happiness to put the crops in and to harvest, and he loved black Angus cattle and took pride in his herd.

Hobbies/Interests: He was a great welder there wasn’t anything he couldn’t make or fix; mostly, he loved spending time with his family.
