He then attended York College in the fall of 2021 where he was a part of the men's golf team, York College Concert Choir, and the Celebration Singers. He attended one semester before deciding to return home and work full-time at Conductix Inc., Harlan, IA

Religious affiliation: Active member, Harlan Church of Christ where he was a spiritual leader; he dedicated his life to Christ and was baptized at age 11.

Employment: During the summers in high school, Grant worked with his father and grandfather in the family business, Irwin Improvement, shingling houses and doing home improvement projects.
