Employment: After completing his GED, Larry was employed by the Carlson Seed Company. Next, he began working for Talbot-Carlson Incorporated for some years until he began working for the Audubon Oil Company. He was later employed at the Alfalfa Mill, located south of Audubon. Finally, he ventured into starting his own mowing and snow removal business, which he operated for many years, all while also taking care of his mother. He retired to enjoy his own home while he was able, and then moved to the Friendship Home, Audubon, IA for a brief time before he relocated one last time to the Salem Lutheran Home, Elk Horn, IA.
Hobbies/Interests: Enjoyed the casinos in Council Bluffs, IA; watching old western and war movies; when younger, he enjoyed playing football and baseball
