Hobbies/Interests: Enjoyed dancing, sewing, caring for her cats, gardening and canning, and baking; Elaine and Loren loved to go dancing, taking the family to Corley, IA to the dances on Saturday nights. In the later years, they got into Western Country dancing and went to different dances around the area. Elaine helped at Carsten Farm Days for many years and was in charge of the musicians and performers.
