Survived by: Honorary daughters, Stacy Mackenzie-Scheid and Torri Knight: nephews, John Edwards, David Edwards, Leslie Edwards, Monte Edwards, and Roger Edwards; nieces, Mary Maher, Kathleen Edwards, Rachael Edwards, and Sandra Edwards; numerous great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews; great-great-great-nieces, Coraline and Madelyn Beurskens

Education: Graduated from Harlan (IA) High School, Class of 1943

Religious affiliation: Devoted member, Luther Community Church, Red Lodge, MT

Military service: U. S. Army, April 2, 1945 – Nov. 30, 1946; after basic training, he was sent to the Pacific and eventually to occupied Japan during and post-World War II. He served in the Cannon Company in the 105th Regiment of the 27th Infantry Division. Honorably discharged.

Marriage: no information provided

Employment: After completing his military service at the end of 1946, Keith moved to North Portal, WY, to help his brothers, Delbert and Howard, on their homesteads; he eventually got his own homestead. He sold that property in 1966 and bought a ranch on Elbow Creek near Red Lodge, MT and raised sheep, red cattle, and horses; he retired in 1999 and chose to live out his remaining days in the community of Red Lodge.

Hobbies/Interests: Enjoyed attending local sporting events; having coffee at the local shop, storytelling with friends, including summiting Mount Fujiyama in Japan; he skied until his 85th birthday
