Hobbies/Interests: Loved baseball and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan; he played ball and coached many teams over a 30 year span. After he finished coasching, he assisted with announcing Harvest Tournament games in Westphalia, IA; also served his community by being a member of the Westphalia Fire Department for 30 years, served on the Credit Union Board, was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the American Legion; he enjoyed playing cards, golfing, attending his children’s and grandchildren’s events and going to the casino with his wife.
