Employment: After high school, Mike was employed by at Irwin (IA) Farm Supply. After his military service, he continued to work at FSC until he retired from there. He then started working for Lamont, hauling grain until his passing.

Hobbies/Interests: Mike was a big asset to the Irwin Community, serving as a volunteer firefighter, EMS and working for the city. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping. He especially loved spoiling his grandchildren and was very active in their lives.
