Religious affiliation: Baptized at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manilla, IA; received the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Portsmouth, IA; attended and helped with various tasks at St. Michael's Church, Harlan, IA

Employment: Began working for Great Plains Lumber Company, Harlan, IA, in 1980; she then suffered a disabling stroke in 1990 and, after extensive therapy, she reentered the work force at CDS, Harlan, IA in 1993. Gloria worked at CDS until she retired.

Hobbies/Interests: Enjoyed spending time outdoors and taking walks; loved sports, particularly softball and bowling; loved doing jigsaw puzzles
