Employment: The youngest in the family, Norman stayed home to assist his parents with farming and also worked as a hired man for farmers in the area for many years. After he was married, they began farming northwest of Earling, IA. Norman also worked for Gaul Implement, assembling farm equipment, and also at the Dunlap Sale Barn on Tuesday’s sale day. They retired to Dunlap, IA in 2009.

Hobbies/Interests: Enjoyed sales, exotic animals, new cars and pick-ups and buying new farm machinery; loved square dancing with Millie, taking bus trips and going to the casino.
