Employment: Employed in Harlan until after her marriage; she then worked on the military base at Fort Sill, OK, where her husband was stationed. After Levi returned from Korea, they owned and operated a trucking company out of Corley, IA. They sold the trucking business and purchased a farm south of Harlan, IA and operated a dairy, raised hogs and farmed. Jeanette worked with Levi, driving trucks, milking cows, doing fieldwork, and raising hogs, all while she was also raising 3 children as well.. In 1982, they sold the dairy and they bought a hog farm north of Atlantic, IA, where they raised breeding stock for Farmers Hybrid. They retired in 1992.

Hobbies/Interests: loved yardwork; helping with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren
