After her marriage to Dowayne, she was a teacher at Hernandez Elementary School and then at Holy Cross Elementary in Pojoaque, NM. She was later a teacher and principal at St. Michael’s Catholic School, Harlan, IA
Hobbies/Interests: Was a member of the Woman’s Auxiliary in Pojoaque, NM, and volunteered for many years at the hospital in Espanola; also volunteered at the Santa Fe Opera; she accompanied many choirs at her parish and accompanied choirs at the Annual Southwest and National Catholic Charismatic Conferences.
