Marriage: Ron Nollen; Feb. 9, 1990; Omaha, Douglas County, NE

Employment: After completing beauty school, she opened her own shop in Omaha, “Ruthi’s.” After their marriage, Ruth and Ron moved to Vail, IA, in Crawford County and opened a restaurant they named “Jack’s.” In 1992, they sold the restaurant and moved to Harlan, IA and in 1999 they moved to Westphalia, IA.

Hobbies/Interests: Loved to go to the casino and play the slot machines; with Ron, they enjoyed traveling to many different casinos around the area; loved to play cards; was a fantastic cook; at home, she made dish cloths and embroidered dish towels
