Employment: Was employed by the Harlan newspaper before and after getting married; she also worked at the White Star Café. She stayed home while they raised their children and to help on the farm. In the 1980s, she went to work at CDS Global, where she remained for more than 20 years; she retired from there in 2006. After that retirement, she worked part-time at Touch of Class Dry Cleaning.

Hobbies/Interests: Enjoyed her flower gardens; baking; sewing; cross stitching; puzzles; volunteered at St. Michael’s Church, helping with the guild activities; loved to watch her children and grandchildren’s school activities, especially their sporting events.
