After his marriage, he combined his experience selling livestock feed with his accounting knowledge to begin Larsen and Associates, Inc, the first of many entrepreneurial and consulting endeavors throughout the U. S. Fortune later led him to move to Kansas where he developed his own oil fields, working every day, in Kansas, then Oklahoma and Texas, investing in cattle as well. He later moved to Arizona and, continuing his work as a consultant, spent several years in China and Indonesia.
