Employment: After his high school graduation, Glen began working for the Union Pacific Railroad as a material handler. He was drafted in 1954, but after his discharge in 1956, he returned to work for the railroad.

Hobbies/Interests: Was interested in anything to do with machinery; he collected many tractors over the years and belonged to 2 tractor clubs; enjoyed farm auctions; was a dedicated member at the Carsten’s Farm and also loved working at the Farmall Land Museum in Avoca, IA
