Survived by: Daughter, Carol (spouse, Merlin) Meyer of Pomeroy, IA; step-children, Mike (spouse, Mary) Mathiasen, Kathy (spouse, Jack) Fenske and Mark (spouse, Bev) Mathiasen; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandsons; brothers, Joe Korwes of Des Moines, IA and Gilbert (spouse, Mary Lou) Korwes of Spirit Lake, IA; other family members and friends

Religious affiliation: Member, St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Thomas Catholic Church and was a past member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Harlan, IA. She was an active church member.

Employment: After her marriage, Tillie worked doing wallpapering and painting in Pomeroy, IA. While her children were growing up, she was employed as a housekeeper for Fr. Larry McCarty; in addition, she worked at the Pomeroy Bakery and as a cook at St. Mary's Catholic School there. After her second marriage, the couple settled near Harlan, IA, where Tillie worked several gardens and sold her produce at Farmers’ Markets; she also worked at a restaurant and did catering work.

Hobbies/Interests: Enjoyed gardening, baking, reading and time spent with family
