Employment: Helped her husband on their farm and cared for the house and the boys while they were growing up. In addition, she also worked at many hospitals and nursing homes. Later, she became a regional sales representative for World Book Encyclopedias.

Hobbies/Interests: gardening, tending her flower beds and mowing the lawn; enjoyed knitting and crocheting, but mostly she loved family gatherings
