Employment: After completing his studies, Ron returned to Elkhorn, NE where he farmed with his grandfather, Henry Drews, where they grew row crops and raised livestock for many years. He was then employed at Christensen Lumber in Fremont, NE where he was the yard office manager.

Hobbies/Interests: Enjoyed team roping and went to Nationals 3 years in a row. He loved animals of all types, but particularly his horse “Misfit”; enjoyed John Wayne and western movies
