Employment: After completing high school, Eileen was employed at the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service (A.S.C.S.) office in Harlan and also worked at Mickel’s Café in Harlan. After finishing cosmetology school in 1979, she owned and operated “The Style Shack” in her home in Panama, IA.

Hobbies/Interests: Served as secretary of the Community Club; was a Den Mother for the Cubs Scouts when her boys were younger; active in the Panama Athletic Association; member, Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Legion Post; was an avid card player; liked to sew; make crafts; play board games; cook and bake; collected bells from around the world
