Employment: Homemaker while her children were young, and was then employed by the News Advocate for several years as a type setter and selling ads. Darlene then worked as a waitress/hostess at several local restaurants including Vic’s Main Tap, the Carrollton Inn, Cousins, and others until her health began to decline.
