Survived by: Daughters, Connie Eichhorn (spouse, Kyle), Barb Licklider and Janice Wiersema (spouse, Brian); grandchildren, Jon (spouse, Anna) Eichhorn, and Jana (spouse, Jim) Egan; great-granddaughter, Jovie Egan and soon-to-arrive great-grandson, Jace Davis Egan; brothers, Don Pattee (spouse, Carol), and Lawrence Pattee (spouse, Lavina); sisters-in-law, Shirley Pattee, Norma Pattee and Dorthea Petersen; nieces; nephews; other family members and friends

Education: Attended country school and graduated from Hancock (IA) High School at age 16, Class of 1941, where she earned the honor of All State in basketball during her senior year

Employment: With her husband, Earl, they farmed the Davis family Century Farm their entire lives. In addition, she substitute taught for the Walnut (IA) Community Schools for the entire time her daughters were in school. Arlene always found ways to supplement the family income by raising and selling chickens and eggs.

Hobbies/Interests: Active with the Pottawattamie County election board, was secretary for the township trustees and volunteered at the Cass County Memorial Hospital; she loved to garden and was particularly proud of her flower gardens. She crocheted table cloths, doilies, afghans, sweaters and scarves, and made beautiful quilts for family members. With Earl, she loved to go dancing, square dancing and to card parties, and after retirement, they took many trips all over the country and went camping.
