Survived by: Son, Dan Frazier (spouse, Deanna) of Belmond, IA; daughter, Diane Manlove (spouse, Keith) of Rochester, MN; sister, Marilyn Smith of Urbandale, IA; grandchildren, Logan and Claire Manlove and Caitlin and Ethan Frazier; nieces; nephews; other family members and friends

Predeceased by: Parents, Floyd Merle and Doris Catherine (nee Cook) Larkin; brother, Phillip Larkin

Education: Graduated from Van Meter (IA) High School, Class of 1943; after, she attended summer school at Simpson College, Indianola, IA, where she received a teaching certificate. After teaching for some years, Pat returned to Simpson College to complete her teaching degree, where she joined Delta Delta Delta sorority.

Religious affiliation: baptized at the United Brethren Church, Des Moines, IA

Marriage: Orville Frazier; Aug. 10, 1948; University Christian Church, Des Moines, IA

Employment: After receiving her initial teaching certificate, she started teaching at a country school in Madison County, IA. After meeting her future husband when she returned to college to complete her teaching degree, Pat and Orville taught together at Dexter School District in Dexter, IA. Later, they taught at Griswold, Coon Rapids, and Guthrie Center before settling in Harlan, IA. Pat continued to teach after they were married. Pat taught first grade for 15 years in Irwin, IA until she retired in 1988; Pat and Orville relocated to Arizona for 15 years until Orville’s death, when Pat returned to Harlan, IA.

Hobbies/Interests: sports; coaching; working with young people; Pat obtained her pilot's license so she could fly planes like Orville did; loved spending summers at the cabin they built in Northern Minnesota, and enjoyed water sports there; after relocating back to Harlan after living in Arizona for 15 years, Pat was active in a bridge club, and enjoyed reading.
