Employment: After graduating from high school, Irene worked for an attorney’s office, followed by being employed by Ray Buman at his accounting office, both in Harlan, IA. She then worked at Pamida Pharmacy in Harlan before pursuing her interest in music by giving piano lessons out of her home for over 30 years. She obtained her license in massage therapy in 2002, and was also a C.A.R.E. Instructor in aromatherapy since 2008.

Hobbies/Interests: Enjoyed time spent with their grandchildren, making leaf books, gardening, playing cards and games, teaching them to play the piano, cooking, and fishing with Rex and the kids
