Employment: After his military service, he ran a corn sheller, and also drove a tank wagon for the Standard Oil Company in the Earling, IA area. After he was married, he owned the Standard Oil Station in Earling, IA. In 1966, the family moved to a farm south of Earling. In 1990, they moved into Earling where Ray sold cars and took up auto body repair at “Ray’s Auto Body Repair.”

Hobbies/Interests: member, American Legion and the Knights of Columbus; passionate about cars and car repair; spending time with family, especially the family trips to Okoboji and spending time on the water.
