After his marriage, he farmed and also ran a snow removal business for several years. In addition, he worked as a security guard at the Shelby County Fair. He retired in 2002.
Hobbies/Interests: loved going to farm sales, looking at older farm equipment. He liked working with his chickens and small cow herd, doing custom farm work, and gardening.
