Religious affiliation: baptized and confirmed at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Harlan, IA, and was a member there until she was married. Since then, she had been a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling, IA and was a member of the Altar Society.

Marriage: Joseph Tremel; June 26, 1950; St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan, IA

Employment: After completing Normal Training, she taught at a Harlan, IA country school, Lincoln #5, until she was married. She then became a homemaker and mother, and enjoyed farming the Tremel Century Farm west of Earling, IA with Joe.

Hobbies/Interests: Sewing, needlework, canning, baking, cooking for family, quilting, travel, square dancing, growing flowers, square dancing, wood crafting with Joe and going to craft fairs
