She volunteered at the Senior Center and was involved in fund-raising efforts there, was a member of the Greenridge Club; did filet crochet, creating beautiful pieces of art; was an accomplished seamstress, making quilts and sewing clothing. She also helped her daughter and her friends in 4-H.
