Marriage: Steven Buck; Feb. 24, 1975; Portsmouth, IA

Employment: After her high school graduation, she worked with her uncle in his shoe store in Lincoln, NE; after recovering from a serious car accident, she moved to Wichita, KS, and helped her aunt and uncle with their children for a few years. She then returned to Portsmouth and went to work for REM in Shelby, IA. for several years before being employed by CDS in Harlan, IA. Next, she took her life in a different direction and opened up the No Sweat Fitness with her mother in Harlan before opening her own No Sweat Fitness in Avoca, IA. Finally, she involved her love of cooking to her next ventures at Dairy Queen in Shelby, IA, with her sisters Lucy and Peggy at their bakery in Harlan, IA, and for her nephew at the Big House Bar and Grill in Persia and Earling, IA.

Hobbies/Interests: cooking, canning, sudoku and crossword puzzles, crocheting, trips to casinos, shopping and going for car rides.
