Employment: After their marriage, Gary and Frankie lived in Woodbine, IA, where Gary trimmed trees and had a garbage route. They moved west of Dunlap, IA and Gary worked in the hog confinement for Leonard Bolton. They moved again in 1970 to Arion, IA; there, Gary worked at the Hide Plant in Denison, IA. In 1978 they relocated back to Dunlap, IA, where Gary again worked for the Boltons’. Ten years later, Gary started working for the City of Dunlap (IA) with the street department; he retired from there in 2009.
