Employment: After finishing high school, she worked at the egg hatchery in Avoca, IA, doing bookwork and helping with the eggs. After she was married, she became a farmer’s wife.

Hobbies/Interests: member, White Ribbon Society (WRS) Rural Club; enjoyed attending quarter horse activities with Gaylord; waspreviously honored as a Shelby County Mother of the Year; baking; crocheting
