Employment: After high school, he worked on his father’s and uncle’s farms; upon return from the military, Garry was a mechanic and operator of a caterpillar, constructing farm terraces while continuing to help with the family farms. He later bought his own milk truck and ran a delivery route, sold Combined Insurance policies, and ran his own lawn spraying business.

Hobbies/Interests: loved anything mechanical, particularly cars and his motorcycles; enjoyed nature and animals; photography; building and flying model airplanes; grilling, baking and using his smoker; being on the phone and “shooting the breeze” with friends and loved ones.
