Survived by: wife of 65 years, Ardyce; sister, Verlee Shupe of Harlan, IA; sons, Steven of Philadelphia, PA, Curtis of Palm Bay, FL and Bryan of State College, PA; grandchildren, Theodore, Karl, Kirsten and Neil; 4 great-grandchildren

Predeceased by: Parents, Jens Magnus and Martha (nee Nelson) Jensen; brothers, Dale, Howard, and Wayne

Education: graduated from grade 8 at Polk No. 1 in Shelby County, IA; while working on the family’s farm, Harvey studied textbooks left behind by his older brother and later entered Iowa State University under the GI Bill and graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering in June 1949.

Religious affiliation: long-time members of Calvary Baptist Church, State College, PA

Military service: Aviation Cadet in the Army Air Corps, which he entered in Feb. 1944. He was discharged in Nov. 1945.

Marriage: Ardyce Paulsen; July 26, 1949; Harlan, IA.

Employment: After their marriage, the couple resided for 6 years in Chicago, IL, where Harvey worked for Commonwealth Edison. In 1955 he joined the faculty of Penn State University and was employed there for 35 years at the Applied Research Laboratory.
