Survived by: Children, Kathy (spouse, Jim) Coffin of Anaheim Hills, CA and Pat (spouse, Steve) Schroeder of Johnston, IA; grandson, Sam Schroeder of Denver, CO; brother, William (spouse, Gerry) Bestmann of Marshalltown, IA; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends

Predeceased by: Parents, William and Anna (nee Trede) Bestmann; husband, Erwin (deceased 1992); infant brother; sister, Muree Geiger.

Education: attended school in Shelby (IA) and graduated at the top of her class in 1933. After graduation she attended Drake University majoring in business.

Religious affiliation: member, United Church of Christ, Minden, IA, and served as Sunday School Superintendent, as well as enjoying her years in the church's Women Fellowship groups.

Employment: After their marriage, Marceda and Erwin farmed in Pleasant Township for over 40 years.

Hobbies/Interests: She was an avid reader, enjoyed doing the puzzles in the morning paper, and cooking for family and friends
