Survived by: Husband of 63 years, Eddie Roos of Harlan, IA; son, Tom Roos of Seattle, WA; daughters, Jane (spouse, Wayne) Blackwell of Mount Pleasant, TX, and Beth (spouse, Brad) Lunt of Bountiful, UT; brother, Raymond Zigtema of Tyler, TX; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends

Employment: For a time after she graduated from high school, she cared for her brother, Sam, an injured veteran. After her marriage to Eddie, she became a homemaker and raised their children.

Hobbies/Interests: Active in the American Legion Auxiliary, and had served as the group’s president during 1958-59. Enjoyed being a homemaker, cooking and caring for her children and husband. She liked to spend time reading mysteries, playing bridge, dancing, and going to garage sales.
