Anna Louise Eldal
December 22, 2010 - December 30, 2010Anna Louise, daughter of Barry and Lois (Grote) Eldal, was born on Wednesday, December 22, 2010, just shy of 23 weeks into the pregnancy. She was born 45 minutes after her twin brother Alex at Myrtue Memorial Hospital in Harlan, IA. She and her brother were baptized shortly after birth.
They were then transferred to Methodist Women’s Hospital in Omaha that same morning and remained there until Anna suffered complications. She was then transferred to Children’ Hospital of Omaha on December 29, 2010. Anna was a fighter and worked hard to overcome some very difficult odds. During her life she exhibited her own personality and often calmed by her mother’s touch and her father’s voice. She was held by Lois and Barry as her spirit was carried away into God’s arms on Thursday, December 30, 2010. Her warm reception through the promise of her savior and redeemer Jesus Christ is anticipated as is our own.
She is survived by her parents Barry and Lois Eldal and twin brother Alex Eldal of Elk Horn; grandparents Raphael and Margaret Grote of Dunlap and Don and Joan Eldal of Moorland; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
