Employment: After high school, Bryan moved to Nebraska and worked in a meat packing plant for a couple of months before moving to Colorado to work with an asphalt crew. In 1989, Bryan was united in marriage to Monique Redmond. He then moved back to the Harlan, IA, area, and began working at Farmland in Denison for 5 years before becoming employed at Jacobs Corp. in Harlan for 17 years. While at Jacobs, Bryan worked on several machines and trained many new employees. In 2007, Bryan began working with Harlan Municipal Utilities as a meter reader.

Hobbies/Interests: enjoyed working on his hobby stock race car and racing, camping, fishing, hunting, and trapping
