Employment: For many years she was the owner/operator of the grocery store in Tennant, IA. After her marriage in 1939, she and Kenneth moved to the Tucker farm located between Tennant and Persia. She raised Columbia sheep and enjoyed traveling with Kenneth to sheep shows around the country. She also worked at the Corn Stalk restaurant in Shelby, IA, until her retirement at age 87.
Hobbies/Interests: She was an accomplished English style equestrian rider. In the 1940's, she trained and rode her champion American saddlebred horse, Suzette le Rose. She enjoyed bowling, flower gardening, and bird watching.
