Employment: After their wedding, George and Karma moved to Colorado for a year where George worked as a carpenter. In 1960, the couple moved back to Harlan where George had a milk route for 8 years and drove trucks for Farmland for 23 years. After retiring, George worked part time at Harlan Auto Parts.

Hobbies/Interests: When George wasn’t working, he enjoyed going camping and fishing. George and Karma enjoyed spending Friday nights hanging out with "the gang" having appetizers and drinks. On Saturday nights, George could be found at the race track watching the stock car races.
