Survived by: Husband of 41 years, Henry Olsen of Irwin, IA; sons, Henry Olson of San Francisco, CA, and Paul Olson of Perry, IA; sister, Eva Chamberlain of Tucson, AZ; sister-in-law, Jolene Meyer; aunts, Lois Petska and Betty Crane; nieces and nephews, James Meyer, Larry Meyer, Suzanne Buntingh, Penny Hanson, Kenneth Hanson, and Jerry Chamberlain; many great-nieces and great-nephews; other family members and many friends.

Predeceased by: Parents, Ira Chester and Martha Marie (nee Lane) Crane; sister, Amy Meyer; infant brother, James Ira Crane; brother-in-law, Don Meyer; parents-in-law, Clarence and Elise Olson

Education: attended the local Milford Number Five Elementary School; graduated from Ar-We-Va High School in Westside, IA, Class of 1962. After high school, she attended business school in Omaha, NE.

Religious affiliation: baptized and confirmed at the Presbyterian Church in Vail, IA; later joined St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Irwin, IA.

Marriage: Henry Olson, Sep. 14, 1968, Presbyterian Church, Vail, IA.

Employment: After completing business school, she worked at an Omaha-area bank. She became an actively-involved mother when her children came along; after her sons graduated, she was employed at the Hy-Vee grocery store in Harlan, IA, and later worked at the Salem Lutheran Homes in Elk Horn, IA.

Hobbies/Interests: was actively involved at Saint Paul’s Lutheran, teaching Sunday school and holding several offices in the women’s organization there; also active in Farm Bureau and several neighborhood clubs
