Teresa Stinn, 52
Jan. 15, 1961 - March 28, 2013

HARLAN –– Teresa Jo Stinn was born on January 15, 1961 to Charles and Mardelle (Jorgensen) Chadwick in Atlantic. She attended Harlan Community Schools and graduated with the Class of 1979. She graduated from Capitol School of Beauty the following year. She was raised by Dr. Harris.

April 19, 1980, Teresa was united in marriage to Michael Stinn in Harlan. They became parents to two sons: Justin and Daniel. She worked at Myrtue Medical Center for over twenty-five years. Some of Teresa’s favorite things were going out to eat with Rita and Dorothy, going to movies with her granddaughter, Anna, spending time with her new granddaughter Edyn, and Tasty Tuesdays with the girls. She also enjoyed watching HDTV, Paranormal, and soap operas, keeping up with friends on Facebook, talking on the phone, and visiting her grand-kitties.

Teresa died on Thursday, March 28, 2013, having attained the young age of fifty-two years, two months, and thirteen days. Teresa was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband of nearly thirty-three years Michael Stinn of Harlan; sons: Justin Stinn and his wife Holly of Harlan and Daniel Stinn and his fiancé Ashley Schechinger of Harlan; two granddaughters: Anna and Edyn, mother Mardelle Griffin of Harlan; brothers and sisters: Linda and her husband Jack Scheffler, Kevin Chadwick and his wife Carol, Curt Chadwick, and Brenda Chadwick and Brad Wright all of Harlan; step-brothers Craig Harris of Harlan and Dave Harris and his wife Twyla of Marne; and several other step-brothers and step-sisters; other family members, and many friends.

Pastor Joe Pennington officiated the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Monday, April 1, 2013 at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan. Honorary casket bearers were Oracio Felix, Tommy Stinn, Zain Harris, and Jake Stinn. Serving as casket bearers were Brandon Scheffler, Zackary Harris, Kristopher Chadwick, Jerry Stinn, Jesse Andersen, and Devin Stahl. Interment was held at the Harlan Cemetery.
