Paul Neal Siebert

Paul Neal Siebert, age 77, Hermitage, Mo., died March 18, 2013, at his home.

He was born March 27, 1935, in Council Bluffs, to Harry W. and Helen Jane (Neal) Siebert. He was in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1959 to 1964. He worked for 27 years at the Rock Island Railroad and later retired as a terminal manager for CWS, Inc., in Council Bluffs. In 1999, Paul and his wife, Shari, retired to their lake home at Hermitage, Mo.

Paul was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Siebert.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon; a son, Jeffrey Siebert, of Harlan Iowa; four daughters, Michelle Mefferd, of Missouri Valley Iowa, Julie Hester, of Omaha Neb., Rebecca Baber, of Victoria, Minn., Kristin Leon, of Honey Creek, Iowa; four step daughters, Michelle Ricketts, of Pacific, Mo., Kimberly Lane, of Liberty, Mo., Traci Dresher and Melissa Gundlach, both of Council Bluffs; 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Council Bluffs, at 11 a.m., on Saturday,April 13, 2013. Cremation was under the direction of Hathaway-Peterman Funeral Home in Wheatland, Mo. A private burial will be held at Cedar Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
