OBITUARIES March 1st, 2013 by Ric Hanson

JUDITH FAY HANSEN, 69, of Elk Horn, died Thu., Feb. 28th, at the Salem Lutheran Home. Funeral services for JUDITH HANSEN will be held 11-a.m. Mon., March 4th, at the Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan.

Visitation at the funeral home is on Sun., March 3rd, from 3-to 9-pm, with the family present to greet friends from 5-to 8-pm.

Burial is in the Harlan Cemetery.

JUDITH HANSEN is survived by:
Her husband – Gary Hansen, of Harlan;
Her sons – Neil (Diane) Hansen, and Brent (Ann) Hansen, all from Harlan, and Kevin Hansen (& friend Katie), of Des Moines;
Her daughter – Jeanne (Kurt) Koenig, of Dunlap;
Her brother – Dennis (Kanet) Thomsen, of Harlan;
Her sister – Beverly (Tom) Schmitz, of Harlan;
and 2 grandchildren.

Judith Hansen passed away on Thursday, February 28th at the Salem Lutheran Home in Elk Horn. Survivors include her husband Gary Hansen of Harlan, 3 sons Neil (Diane) Hansen and Brent (Ann) Hansen, all of Harlan and Kevin Hansen and friend Katie of Des Moines, 1 daughter Jeanne (Kurt) Koenig of Dunlap, 1 brother Dennis (Janet) Thomsen of Harlan, 1 sister Beverly (Tom) Schmitz of Harlan and 2 grandchildren. Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements where visitation will be held from 3 to 9pm on Sunday, March 3rd with family greeting friends from 5 to 8pm.
