MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Monday, February 18 at 10am at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment, Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart, 3601 Burt Street, Omaha, 68131 or Christ the King Educational Trust, 654 S. 86th Street, Omaha, 68114.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Egan, Sr.; parents, William F. and Eva Monahan; brothers, Richard Monahan, and Michael Monahan; and sisters, Marilyn Bendon and Katie Gehringer. She is survived by her children, Anne Marcotte (Jeff), Mary Johnson (W. Todd), and Thomas L. Egan, Jr. (Kim); 10 grandchildren, Lizzy, John, and Joe Marcotte, Eddie, Charlie and Sam Johnson, and Henry, George, Sarah and Kate Egan; and many family and friends. Special thanks to the amazing staff at New Cassel Retirement Center, First Light Home Care, and Hospice House for their patience, comforting ways and unwavering support for Janet.
